Yoga is not just a physical practise

By focusing on synchronicity between breath and movement Yoga is a holistic process, which is healing, strengthening,
calming and empowering the mind and body. Paying attention to our breath is the easiest way to change our mindset and emotional state.

Yoga is a true stress reliver that offers something to everybody, regardless of their age, gender, size, shape, background or fitness level.
Practise and flow with me through challenging, calming and well-rounded Asana sequences that stimulate and train your body – including guided
meditation and breathing exercises (pranayama).

Quiet and calm your restless mind by combining movement, breath, mindful attention and relaxation.

Energy flows when there is Space

„Give me some space…“
We probably all know this expression, but what do we mean with that and how to we get that space?
When the mind is full of thoughts, which won‘t let you rest, we need to flush them out and put them on pause.
We actually have to create that space within ourselfs. Yoga can help to create that much needed intercellular space in mind and body. Meditation is a wonderful technique to calm down our restless mind.
The same we can do in our bodies. By asana practise we are stretching out the whole body and create space within.

My name is Tina and I am coming from beautiful Munich in Germany. If you don‘t find me in south Bavaria, it means I‘m travelling and most probably indulging in one of my passions, yoga, landscape design, photography or surfing.

Immersed in dance as a child, I have a long-standing passion for creative expressions through the body. While looking for an alternative to the routine of dance classes I discovered Yoga. Instantly attracted to the physicality of the yoga practise, soon the spiritual aspects of yoga were sneaking on me through the physical. The decision to go abroad to see the world gave me the opportunity to attend my first Vinyasa teacher training course with Samyak Yoga, Stéphanie Viu-Kessler and Trupteesh Nagaraj Hurikadale (founder of Samyak Yoga School in India) in Bali, April 2018.
As my teacher Stephanie said „we need to feed others as well to be fed“, you can not give back your knowledge, if you are not receiving it from someone. Teaching is the result of understanding what you are sharing. Thats why I am constantly seeking out opportunities to study with teachers across the globe, participate in workshops and further educate myself with trainings (currently total training hours 440). Staying humble, curious and open minded is probably the most important as a teacher and perpetual student. Learning is what made me want to share. Yoga is an amazing practise that gives me the opportunity to heal, observe, get to know myself better and teaches me to simply let go.

Grown up in a small village sourrounded by farms, forests and mountains I was constantly roaming around in nature. Through the deep connection with nature and landscapes paired with my creative streak, I studied landscape architecture and graduated my masters degree in International LA in 2016.

It is the unity with the ocean‘s energy and the sort of spiritual experience every time you paddle out, which makes my passion for surfing.

Salty hair, sandy feet….

Yoga and surfing go together like saltwater and sand. It is the natural flow of movement, breath, ocean tides and waves, which create that perfect match. 

While surfing we need strength, a calm and clear mind and a strong connection with the natural forces around us. Yoga helps to connect with ourself and our environment and creates this balance of strength, fluidity in the body and clarity of the mind.

Acceptance and self-awareness play a very important role in Yoga, as you should not force any pose but finding the depth of the pose in the moment. Same for surfing, being fully in the moment and in tune with the ocean improves your focus and creates that inner peace which makes it more easy to catch a wave.
